How many litters can a hamster have, but still be healthy?
Posted on Feb 03, 2010 under healthy hamsters | 2 CommentsMy hamster has had one litter with me and she might have had one at petco, theyre not sure. DO you think i can get one more litter out of her and would she still be healthy?? or should i just get another girl and a boy?
i know that silly!!!!!!
its just her last litter didnt survive. none. i was just wondering!
This is what i read on the internet. hamsters can have many litters with a responsable breeder. I recommend that if you want to continue breeding her three litters then a break. If you deside to only have one more litter with her then go ahead. As long as she is already healthy. Also be aware it is not uncommon for hamsters to eat their young. So give her a boild egg after the babies are born.So she won’t eat her babies for nutrition. Don’t touch the pups. she’ll eat them. hope i helped and that your hamster has pups.i love hamsters!

If you really loved your hamster; you would NOT breed her!
Animals are living, breathing creatures. Not merchandise!
