Happy Hamsters

What kind of proteins might be good for hamsters and mice?

I’ve given our two rodents crickets, and they both like them. The mouse also seems to like meal worms. Any other ideas? We try and keep a good diet for them. They get fresh vegies and stuff from outside as well as they’re food. The hamsters get two to three Yogurt treat things per day.

I give my hamsters cheese, cooked meat, and cooked eggs. The yogurt treats are good, but I would not give them that many. You can try to give the hamster meal worms also. Dog treats are a favorite of many hamsters. Good luck.
