i am getting a hamster and i need to know what the bedding costs are in pounds and how much they will cost ?! oh and if you have any other hamster tips and advice maybe a few names that would be great!!!

i have two gerbils which are sorta like hamsters but gerbils chew everything in sight and hamsters dont chew too much. bedding is about $10 for about two months pretty much it depends on how big your cage is and how much bedding you put in it. only have one hamster they can get aggressive towards the other. give it a toilet paper roll without paper on it to them about once a week b/c they like to chew on it. i named my gerblis candy and apple and then candy died so the next one was cide like apple cider. it you are getting a cage with wire on the sides (dont get one with wire on the bottom) sometimes they climb/chew the walls and might throw bedding out. also ahve a wheel inside, a food dish, water bottle, places to hide/sleep, things to chew on, a ball, and i think thats it. i like to have a carrier b/c i bring them to my sisters soccer games.
Hi, the bedding is around a pound, sometimes two. Don’t buy the fluffy cotton wool type bedding as its bad for them buy the bedding that looks like shredded toilet paper. I’ve also added loads of advice in your other question. By the way is it a boy or a girl? (names)

You don’t need to buy bedding, ripped-up kitchen towel works just fine and they actually prefer it. For sawdust/woodshavings, a big bag costs about £3, a small one about £2. This is going by pets at home.
