Dwarf hamsters?

Are all types of dwarf hamsters social? like can they all live in groups of 2 or 3? What types cana and can’t?

dwarf hamsters, as opposed to the bigger syrian hamster, ARE social, and can be kept in groups of 2 or more, however, you should definitely introduce them together at a very young age. You’ll want to keep only the specific species together, also. good luck! I included a link with some very good information.

Dwarf hamsters (winter whites, campbells, robos or chinese) can live together if they are from the same litter or have been introduced at the same young age.If they are not from the same litter or have an age difference, they can fight. In a few rare cases, litter mates can also viciously fight since one might decide to have the "dominate" character over the other.

Also if you separate one dwarf from another even for a week, they lose memory of the familiar scent and would treat each other as strangers or enemies when they are reintroduced.
