1) how do i know if my bear’s teeth r too long or short?
2) do their nail have to be trimmed?
3) what kinds of bedding are okay? is a cage liner with a few cotton balls enough?
4) what should i look for when choosing my hamster?

1) Normally if they are chewing on the cage, it means they’re teeth are bothering them. Chew sticks form pet stores are perfect
2) No they do not need to be trimmed, unlike guinea pigs
3) Care fresh is the best kind for hamsters, and yes the cage liner and cotton balls are perfectly fine.
4) If you get a female, make sure its not pregnant you can normally tell if the stomach is bulged out and round.
5) Normally neither gender makes a difference but i would say females as for males could be jumpy
6) Females the same thing like i said in 5 they are jumpier
7) It doesn’t matter what gender they are both healthy
They need to have chew sticks for their teeth and they need bedding NO wire floor cages! They don’t normally like to be held so try to pet it first.
